The Nautical Mile in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, is a premier, year-round boating and entertainment district located on Jefferson Avenue between 9 and 10 1/2 Mile Roads. It serves as a bustling hub for the Midwest’s largest concentration of boats, featuring numerous marinas, restaurants, shops, and lakefront activities, including fishing, sailing, and specialized events.
The Nautical Mile Merchants Association, representing a dynamic business and service community, continually strives to achieve three basic and common goals:
• Promote its members and their businesses year-round through various marketing endeavors and special events.
• Enhance the community of St. Clair Shores through NMMA sponsored family activities, aesthetic improvements to the Nautical Mile and increased awareness of the area’s many unique benefits.
• Consistently support local charities and non-profit organizations by providing opportunities for, and participating in, appropriate fundraising efforts.
By pursuing and achieving these goals, the Nautical Mile Merchants Association strives to make a positive and lasting difference for its valued members and the community it serves.
